Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. Her childhood was spent listening to classical, old boleros and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera, and any form of dramatic performance. At age 16 she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense training in singing. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara as well as Mexico City, she was a member of many opera ensembles as well as chamber groups. In 2000 she moved back to the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007 she moved to her current home in Southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. She is involved with many local projects, both as a teacher and performer, because of her passion for art and music. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to be able share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes that this will encourage younger generations to continue the tradition.
