Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is a Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. Since she was a teen, she has worked with traditional as well as popular music. Her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Habichuela, a flamenco guitar player who is renowned for her talent, described her voice by saying it was sweet with an old-fashioned bite. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. It earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Her third long-player Motomami featured songwriting collaborations with many artists and producers like Cory Henry and James Blake. The set was released in March 2022 following a performance of the song Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish soloist to appear on the show on Saturday Night Live. Motomami's Rosalia, who won the Latin Album of the Year as well as three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami was also the first woman in history to be awarded this award.
