Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a well-known Indian actress, best known for her roles in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Aapke Haiin Koun..! The actress began her career in the her twenties. Her character in the role of Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely well-known. Her next film was the film Dil In which she starred alongside Aamir Khan. Early on, as a child growing up in the middle class of Mumbai, she started to dance. When she was young began acting, but struggled as many of her films were flops. Her breakthrough came when she finally had success and then went on to be one of the top actresses within the Indian film business. Following her marriage the actress took time to rest from her acting career until she returned. In recent times, she was one of the main characters in Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit was nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize given to civilians in India is bestowed to her.
